3. Cautions
Electric cast cutter
1) Before using the electric cast saw with vacuum, check whether the saw blade is flat, whether there is missing teeth, and whether the installation is proper. When installing the saw blade, the saw blade shaft must be fixed. Insert a wrench into the square part of the shaft, use another wrench to remove the nut in front of the saw blade. Next, remove the concave bushing and saw blade, replace with another saw blade and tighten. Check the ventilation duct of the motor and keep it unblocked to prevent clogging of foreign objects, resulting in poor ventilation, and excessive temperature rise or even burning of the motor during motor operation. In addition, the transmission part should be filled with lubricating oil before leaving the factory to ensure the lubrication between the drive shaft and the shaft seat, to prevent the axle sleeve from wearing out and cause the shaft to shift after the oil is cut off..
2) When using the cast saw with vacuum, do not use excessive pressure, and apply pressure on the saw blade while it is swinging. When the blade is suddenly stuck in the plaster bandage, the power should be cut off and slowly withdrawn, instead of turning the power switch on and off, which can easily damage the motor.
3) When using the electric cast saw, the temperature of motor housing increases with time. If the temperature of housing is found to be too hot, it should be suspended, wait until it cools before use. Otherwise, the motor may be overheat and burned.
4) When there are abnormal sounds, vibrations, etc. during use, it should be promptly overhauled.
5) After use, the orthopaedic plaster cutter should be wiped clean, usually should be placed in a dry place (relative humidity is no greater than 80%) and non-corrosive gas environment to prevent damage from falling and water ingress.
